The GETH-2wire-RX-OF is a receiver module that enables the transmission of Ethernet data and PoE power via any two wires in a cable. It is equipped with an RJ45 output supporting 802.3af/at PoE with a maximum power of 30 W, and a DATA connector for connection to another GETH-2wire module. It offers data transfer rates of up to 400 Mb/s over distances of up to 750 m when using Cat 5e UTP cable. This solution allows existing cabling to be used for power supply and communication with PoE IP cameras and other network devices, particularly in installations where replacing the cables is impossible or uneconomical.Key features:Ethernet and power transmission over 2 wiresbandwidth up to 400 Mb/stransmission range up to 750 m802.3af/at/bt PoE power supplylocal power supply 24–56 VDCRJ45 port and DATA connectorcapable of connecting up to 4 devices via PoEcapable of daisy-chaining multiple modules on a single linksupports star, bus and tree topologiestransmission encryption capabilityoperating status indicated by LEDsautomatic configurationOpen Frame version for panel mountingThe module can be powered by 24–56 VDC, with the PoE output voltage being equal to the supply voltage. To ensure correct power supply to PoE devices, such as IP cameras, it is recommended to use a voltage above 44 VDC. GETH-2wire modules can be connected in various topologies, including star, bus and tree, and more than two devices can be connected on a single line. The receiver features transmission encryption and LED indicators showing power supply, connection, transmission and the presence of PoE at the RJ45 output. The module’s IP address is automatically assigned by a DHCP server, and connection parameters can be checked via a web browser. The OF (Open Frame) version is designed for installation in dedicated ABOX series enclosures or on mounting plates with 10.8 mm pitch holes. The device does not require complex configuration and is designed to work with existing cabling. The transmission parameters given apply to Category 5e UTP twisted-pair cable, whilst the actual range and bandwidth depend on the type and quality of the cable, the number of connections and the installation conditions. The GETH-2wire-TX-OF and GETH-2wire-RX-OF modules are sold individually; for the system to function correctly, a minimum of two modules connected to each other via two wires through the DATA connector is required.
